unknown user in model?

Hi All,

I'm getting this error show below many times a day on one particular project.  There's no user "dt_clarity" at our office.  Our model is hosted on BIM360 and we have the architect's model linked to ours.

In many occasions I've attempted to copy certain items from the architects model into ours and occasionally get this error. Today, another user saw the message when trying to load a family from our library.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,

James

That sounds like someone involved in the project is using a 3rd party software called Clarity which can run automated tasks on projects, like printing PDF's, export to DWG for example. We occasionally have Clarity borrowing elements when events fail to complete. When this happens we use Force Relinquish via Manage Cloud Models. It won't harm the Clarity processes because Clarity doesn't continue using the same local file.

That was it.  I forced relinquish on BIM360 and sure enough, there it was.  Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the issue have come from linking the architect's model.  I'd know if anybody was using Clarity at my office.  It's weird that a lock in the linked model could affect us.
