Units when exporting an fbx

I have a revit model that was created using imperial units and want to export an fbx in metres.

Is this possible? If I change the system units it seems to hold on to the units it was created in. Also there is no dialogue to change the units for fbx export like there is with CAD exports.

Any ideas welcome.

I do tend to do it on the other end, when importing in other software. Software I use recognizes the units and sizes it automatically

Me too but our client is trying to import models in to https://vu.city/ which only accepts metres.

We are trying to avoid them needing a second conversion software although I do appreciate it is in Audodesk's interests to get people to buy multiple packages like 3ds max.

Is there another way?
