In Revit 2024, when using Underlay to view roof overhangs, only the "defines slope" (eave) edges appear. The other (rake) edges do not. At one point during the life of the project, the Underlay command did display properly in this file.
Hard to diagnose with that limited information. Post the file.
This is what it sounds like you are seeing:
If so, are the rakes cropped out of view? Uncheck Crop View.
No, that is not the case. All of roof is well inside the crop boundaries.
