Unbind Binded Link

Can I do it? Unbind a already binded link? When I first started the project, I have accidentaly selected "Bind Link". It made the architeture file and the MEP file become a single file, instead of a MEP file linked to an architeture file. Now as a result I can't update architeture file (which should be just a link).

Here's a picture of this "Bind Link" button I've selected:

Delete - reinsert in same position? Are you using coordinates?

Yes. Select the group, use Link button on the ribbon and follow the prompt to convert it back to a link.

I vote re-link.  Delete what you "binded" and start afresh.

BTW: I don't know the reason you originally binded the Link, but you might look at the Copy/Monitor functions next time you are tempted.

I've ungrouped it before. I cannot select the architetural part whitout selecting the MEP one, but I think there is somehow because Revit recognizes the MEP parts in the filters

Managed to do it guys, thank you all.

It might help someone else so: I just had to select the entire house in the 3d view with a selection window, then I selected the Filter in the modify options up in the ribbon. Then, I selected all the items except for the MEP items (those that are conduits, plumbs, lightning devices, etc.) and I hit ok. With that done, the last step is to delete all the selection you've made, then you are good to go and make another link
