Unable to use offset function for Grid line (Urgent!)

Hello,

Anyone can advise how to solve as I am using 2020 version to create Grid line and unable to offset.

I have chosen numerical and checked copy box after selecting offset function.

The offset icon appeared but unable to see dotted line to offset as per instruction.

Kindly advise if anyone encounter the same issue.

copy them and enter the distance you need, it is a simple exercise

some things can't use the offset tool

Thanks for the reply, I did not use pick line. But just use normal line to create Grid line.

It happen only to Grid line but other wall I can able to offset.

Do you encounter the same issue before?

I have snap shot for our easy reference and advise.

the OFFSET tool is not available for offsetting Grid lines

but when you want to Place a new grid line you can use the offset option and pick lines selection to hover over the grid line to be offset from.

Offset for gridlines will only work if you choose the pick line option.
