I have a track light family that I've put in a revit project. However when I put it in, its always at the same height from the FFL. I want it to be higher up from the FFL but no matter what i do i cant seem to adjust it. how do i fix it?

you need to edit your track light family and check the sill height dimension setting or post your family here so we can check. thanks

It's probably a Level-Hosted Family. If so, enter a distance value into the Light Fixture's "Elevation From Level" or "Offset From Host" Instance Parameter.  But before you go there, confirm that there is not a Type or Instance Parameter that controls the light elevation.

If it is a non host family then go to an elevation view, move up or down with Disjoint box checked.

uncheck this one in the family and every thing going good, BUT, you will lose the rotation 😞
