un-halftone specific element

Hi guys

I am doing a renovation project where i drew the initial house plan and now am creating the proposed plan. I wanted to create a specific sheet showing in a bold way the walls that are to be demolished (for easiness of the contractor) and i thought of using VG (visibility graphics overrides) to halftone ALL the plan and then right click on the specific walls to be demolished and undo the halftone. And i could do the same in a separate sheet for the proposed to be erected walls

However i don't seem to find such an option. Do i have to choose each wall separately and then halftone each one individually except the ones i want to pop out?

You are describing a classic example of when Phases come in handy. If you don't know how to use Phases, check this out and the pages to which it directs:

You would set up your phase graphics first (Manage > Phases > create your phases, then customize the filters, then customize the overrides). Second you would apply appropriate phase filters to each of your views. Learn about phases via YouTube, Google, etc. to see the specifics.

Then after this, make additional items grey as needed per view.

PS: Keep this hierarchy (image below) in mind when mixing Phase overrides and V/G overrides. In short, the former trumps the latter when both are applied to a view. Thanks to @hmunsell  for sharing this infographic, it's quite handy 😁
