U value Inconsistency

Hello everybody!

I have a problem about u value definition.

I define all of the building components layer by layer and I edit the material type of each layer. So it gives me R value (1/U) for that building component as seen in the on the picture:

1.PNG

However, when i go to the "heating and cooling load analysis" section and look into u value for the building components, i dont see the same results! Like:

2.PNG

Why doesn't it take the properties I define the edit type of the components?

Best in advance!

I think when you check the Override boxes they will take the value from your model.  If the boxes aren't check, they take the value from the predefined Conceptual model.

Hello,

Thank you for an answer.

When I select all category override, the U values are not changed. they are still same and there is no difference on the energy analysis.

Maybe ı miss something or there is another solution. Do you have any idea?

Thanks!

I did a test and the override option (Schematic type) did give a different result than the non override one (Conceptual type).
