Hi,

Two generic family's, need to cut with another one generic void family. is it possible ? like when we place a door in the wall, Wall will automatically cut as opening size in the door family. in the same way is it possible for generic family's ?

please give me your valuable feedback.

Thank you,

regards,

Satya.

Hello!

Generic model families can cut floors walls roofs and ceilings and some families I found this for you could be interesting Cut with voids when loaded

Thank you so much for the mention

Yes.

A Wall-Hosted Family with Void(s)/Opening(s) cutting the Host Wall will cut the Host-Wall of another Wall-Hosted Family when Nested into it.

Does that answer your question?
