Twinmotion problem in Revit 2026.2 version.

   Hoping to find a solution. Twinmotion was just working fine until I updated Revit 2026. You know: the last version is 2026.2 , and i am working with a new project which i`d like to see also in Twinmotion. It is the last version of course, i worked with some projects before i updated Revit as i said. now Revit is 2026.2 and when i select "open in Twinmotion" , the building is not showing up in Twinmotion: just an empty new file. I tried to search, checked all the preferences. nothing seems to be wrong. Now i can not go back to Revit 2026 version either. Everything was just fine before upgrading.

    Anyone who has any idea about this issue/solution?

#1. for the Twinmotion issue, I'd suggest a support ticket because it sounds like a new bug that crept up.  Because you said this same model was working fine before the update, correct?

#2. to regain Revit 2026.1, if you completely uninstall Revit 2026, then download specifically the Revit 2026.1 installer (NOT the latest version), you can then get Revit 2026.1 back again.  To get that, you have to go to your products and services page, click on the View Details link at the bottom of the Revit panel, then in the window that pops up you need to click on the Revit 2026.2 Update link (highlighted below), then on the next page that pops up you can select whichever version you want.

Thank you for the suggestion, it seems like the right move to do and get back to Revit 2026.1 , but what about the project i have been working in 2026.2 version? That s another problem: i can not save as the project with a downgrade version, right?

Backwards compatibility is only an issue with major updates (2026>2025), but the point updates are fine (2026.2>2026.1).  You can just open it in 2026.1 and it won't know the difference.  If you have multiple people working on a model, some may be in one point release and others in a different point release and all will be fine (typically).  Autodesk recommends that everyone is on the same point release, and that's always best practice of course, but it just doesn't always happen.  

There have been rare issues in the past with compatibility with point releases, but they are rare.  The big one I'm thinking of was the schema issues we had with 2024.  Other than that, typically not an issue.
