Tutorials and their viability for Revit LT 2020

I have Revit LT 2020 and trying to learn. However, most tutorials I've looked at so far get to a point where I do not have the commands of functions. For example in a tutorial from Balkan Architect. I created the rotated squared but when it came to lofting them to a form, I don't have the "Create Form" button. Is is possible in RVLT to loft those squares into an object? I see now that LT has no "massing" functions.

Yes Revit LT does not have massing tools. But there should be plenty of tutorials out there for Revit/Revit LT that have nothing to do with massing. Most of the same tools are available to both Revit and Revit LT. You just happened to pick one that is not.

You can't "loft" a form in Revit LT.

What is the end goal?  What are you trying to make that you need a loft form for?  That might help get a better answer. If you are looking to create a loft form just for the sake of lofting, that is simply not possible in Revit LT.

The second image in the OP is the goal. In the tutorial the the squares are selected and the massing tool turns them into that form. I used the word "loft" as that is how I would get the form in Rhino and other packages. How would I create that form in LT?

If you are just trying to get a generic lofted form, Revit LT is not the tool to do it. It simply does not do this. REVIT has a massing tool that does this, but Revit LT does not include this tool. If you want a form like this, you will need to use Revit.

It is a bit like asking, "How do I saw this lumber in half with this hammer?" You don't. Hammers do not saw wood.

Thanks for that nuanced and enlightening response. As we're offering instruction, might I suggest you visit the McNeel Rhino forum to see how Rhino reps answer questions from beginners and journeymen.

That said, I see the family editor, has a "blend" tool that does something similar to what I want. But at this point, knowing now that RLT is a hammer and not a saw, I think I'll just abandon my Revit LT experiment.
