How can I turn off the P&ID Modeler Pane that automatically opens every time I open a Revit model? Or just get rid of P&ID tool all together?
I just installed 2018 and blindly installed all the updates to stay current, including I guess the P&ID Modeler tool. I am an architect with no need for this function, and it stinks to have to close a window pane every time I open a model. I've tried to turn it off using Revit Options User Interface dialog and the View tab User Interface drop-down. No luck.

I'm fine with that. Is there a way to uninstall certain updates independently, like the P&ID, or do I have to uninstall Revit 2018 completely and re-install?
Use Add/Remove programs in windows like any other software.
Look for the addon by name. In windows 10 just search for "P&ID" and you'll find it.
I cannot find it in my list of Programs and keep getting this dialog when closing Revit:
Sadly not, its a pain in the neck!
my best suggestions would be to reinstall it, then completely uninstall it again.
beyond that, no. sorry.
How can you reinstall it then uninstall it if you cannot find it!

i went to look for it, it's no longer listed in my Autodesk update app...
Perhaps they removed it?
Perhaps when we switched from being a Maintenance License to a Subscription license it was modified...?
I... I don't know what to tell you.
This article suggests it's part of "Collaboration for Revit"

**More Digging.
I dug it up here:
Log into your autodesk account.
https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
I went to Product Updates, and it's listed there.
Give that a shot maybe?
I cannot believe that I have found that it is "Not possible to uninstall P&ID modeler ...." on the Autodesk Knowledge Network. Why hasn't it been reported here? See https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...
Pathetic, Autodesk!
