Turn IMPORTED CAD INTO COLOUR IN REVIT

Hi,

I have imported a 3D cad model into my revit project and was wanting to change its colour. Ive already tried selecting its categories and overriding its colour but still nothing changes also went again in VG and changed the imported categorie and the link I had brought it but still doesn't work.

CAD elements must be Color by Layer.
