Trying to install Revit on Macbook Parallels 11 and an error 10 shows up

Hello,

I'm a student using a MacBook Pro, and I've been trying to install Revit on Parallels 11. However, each time I attempt it, the download progresses to about 20%, and then I receive an "Error 10" message. I’ve restarted my MacBook and tried reinstalling multiple times, but the issue persists. I'm unsure what's causing this problem. Is it possible to successfully install Revit on Parallels for MacBook, or is there a solution to resolve this error?

Besides that, I installed 3D Max on Parallels before a year, and there was absolutely no problem.

Regards,

Hend

I'm confused, you say the downloads already stops at 20%. But you also ask about installation error. Please clarify at what step you struggle. First, downloads the complete file(s) to local drive, then install.

If it is a download issue already, what internet do you have? Those files are massive.

And using an Apple computer for a PC software will come with some troubles.

I just picked up a macbook pro m4 max and was setting it up today.  I previously got the same error when trying to install Revit 2025.  Today, I installed the arm64 c++ redistributable libraries from microsoft, as I needed them for software development work I do.  Then on the same windows 11 vm ( 24H2 ) installed Revit 2025 with the latest service pack included 25.4 (actual build version is 25.4.0.32).  Note I'm using parallels 20.  Worked great!  No issues.  Man this machine smokes.  They must have fixed the issue between now and then.
