Trusses appear as blue dotted lines

When i insert a truss they appear as a blue dotted line, but only when you hover over them.

My detail level is set to fine and my structural framing visibility is on.

Any suggestions how to resolve?

select the truss, edit type, then select the member types for Top chord, bottom chord, diagonals and verticals.

If they are already assigned, then you need to make sure that visibility is also on for structural framing in view.

@james.Parratt : if you are positive that your Structural Framing Category is turned on in the View, then @MostafaElashmawy is spot on.  You need to assign Structural Framing Types to Chords and Webs.

...if this doesn't work, then examine the Structural Framing Family. Does it actually have Geometry that is Visible in 3D View?
