Can we make new additions to schedules make the table go up instead of down?

Hey all,

So lets say i make an important schedule and add it to the bottom of multiple sheets. 2 weeks later I create something that adds to that schedule, so the schedule will automatically create a new row, exactly how i wanted it to be.

The issue now is that the new row is now sticking out of the bottom of the sheets.

What i need is for the schedule to build upwards. the new row to be put at the bottom, and all rows above it to be 'pushed' upwards.

Is it possible to do that?

I know there is the build up option, but that's only usable for revision schedules on sheet families.

Cheers

so your looking for something like a justification lock? tell the schedule it is bottom left justified so it always grow or shrinks from that point... i don't know of a way to do that currently, but its not a bad idea..... suggest it in the Ideas Forumthere are plenty of times we have to go back in a tweak our schedule sheets after something gets added because of the way they were laid out.

oh ya... i forgot Revision schedules have that turned on. its there in all schedules its just grayed out. guess if Autodesk can just enable that for all revit schedules that would do it. :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

Never thought on it, but actually it is kind of strange to have the option greyed out for schedules. That just seems to me like a lazy progamming shortcut, instead of making it work just disable it... :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht: Enabling it might not be 'that' easy then, but it would be nice to be able to control that instead of having to go back to fix the sheets. One option to prevent having to do that is to split your schedule and leave some room for adjustments...
