trouble with revit installation

Hi, 

I am not able to download the student version of revit 2016. I tried multiple times following the instructions but it takes a very long time and keeps failing half way through the installation.

Hi try to switch off all your anti-virus program before downloading and installation . Download from virtual agent.thanks

What does the installation log file show before reverting?

I tried turning off my anti-virus and installing via the virtual agent but
I wasn't successful. After I download the exe file and click on it, it says
that some files are missing. 😞
The installation window says installing 4 of 8 before it fails.
Is there anything else I can try?

Are you installing just Revit, or one of the suites?  I do not know about the individual titles, but the suites have more than one download file, and you need to download all of them before starting the installation.

Thank you everyone! yes I had to download 2 files and then install it.
