Trick Complicated Roof

HI all, an auto cad colleague ask me to do a model of a house that is reminiscent of ancient castles. I am having trouble with what i would call a spire point roof. I have included the dwgs of the roof and a photo of the current model. I have Tried both roof by extrusion and a Massing model to convert to the roof. any suggestions are welcome.

Try to import it in an in-place model, sometimes it gives good results.

You can try to import it inside a family too.

My question if it was not clear, was how to create the roof. This is the first time ive had to make something like this

Are you referring to the Arches? You can model those arches with the Beam tool. 

I see the dwg now. Sorry. That  can be done using the Revolve Tool -- pretty sure.  At least a major portion of it.

I just imported your CAD into a Generic Model Family and created a Revolve by tracing (using Pick Lines). Easy breezy. 99% done.

Create an in-place model with the category Roof and create a revolution based on the CAD you've load in your file :

If the below is what you are talking about then you can try a mass and roof by face to create 1/4 of it then mirror to get the entire roof.

I don't think I have ever modeled anything like this before either, but it's hard to know for sure. I can't make sense of the design from just the Elevations and Plan View you provided.  I would need to understand the shape/construction  better before I could model it.  A photograph would help.  If you can post one, we can figure out how to build this Spire in Revit.

I do not know if anyone has done any like this for real. The designer in
question is an animation fan and Japanese art related to comic it was an
original thing she created in autocad. I am told by our professor I may
have use rhino to create the however I have no experience in rhino. I am
going to see if there is a tutor out there good with mass objects. And you
are right the information is a little spotty but I thought I would give it
my best shot.

The issue is not the design software; it's the lack of information.  There's not enough here to model it or build it.  Give me a photograph and I'll build it.

It looks like two layers of leaves, like a up side down flower.  But the plan and the elevation don't correlate so it's hard to proceed.

I would start off with cacti first and then work your way up to leaves.
