trees in revit 2016

I have just upgraded from 2015 to 2016 & trees have stopped working.  Planting is visible in hidden line, consistent colour & wireframe on projects created in 2015 or earlier.  But not visible on realistic, raytraced or any renderings.

In 2016, any planting is replaced by a small cube, even when the project is created in 2016 from the 2016 library with RPC trees.

Checked all the usual phasing, visibilty /graphic overides, reveal hidden elements etc.

checked the graphics accelerator settings........

Did a quick check Revit 2016 with Service Pack 1. I see the RPC trees from the 2016 library without problems in all views, including rendering.

Hi there

thanks for your help



did the SP1 upgrade and checked the build reference number in About Revit, and SP1 has been correctly applied

Unfortunately still no trees, or people entourage (so anything RPC based)


trees drawn in 2015 have appeared in wireframe and hidden line views only.

trees drawn in 2016 are drawn in all views as small white cubes.


All the above was in the same project.

Can you check the recommendations HERE and let us know if this resolves your issue.

Also please check your system requirements for your Revit version HERE

What graphics card do you have? Can you confirm if you have the latest updates for the graphics card driver?
