Transfer "View Templates" between REVIT files

Hello,

I had two REVIT models, I "transferred" some view templates from one to other, now when I update the view templates in the first model, and try to "retransfer" these view templates to the second model it never apply the new changes. 

Any ideas for how to solve that?

Revit will not ask to overwrite the view templates and will simply ignore the ones with same names that exists in target project. You can give the old one a different name (Example: NAME_OLD) then after you make the transfer project standards, you can select all the views in your project browser that should follow and in properties panel choose the required view template. It will be assigned to all of them at once.

Alternatively, you can create "New View List" schedule and apply the filters there by simply deleting "_OLD" from the view template names.
