I have a Revit trial version. I'm trying to install extensions. when I install them they do not appear anywhere in my Revit
do I not have access to extensions as a trial user or am I just doing something wrong?
What extensions did you install?

It's just gone. For good.
If you are looking for framing, look into AGACAD or STRUCSOFT.
Other than that, you can use Revit Curtain Walls and/or Beams and Column to do pretty much what you could do with the Timber Framing REX.
