Toposurface and Building Pad

hi Guys

Can anyone help me with getting this Toposurface / Building Pad to sit align correctly on levels?

I created Toposurface and added Building Pad of 300mm and it is set Building Pad to Level 1.   The toposurface was created manually ( I had to add the points manually) from elevation points from DWG import.

Just wondering what is correct process to get Building Pad to sit correctly. . Do I move levels in line with Topo or move the Topo or is there something that looks incorrect in this file?  Any tips or things to check would be great.

Sorry I should have added that my Elevation points are 50,000 mm region - not sure if that is related.

If you can refer me to good video instruction on Topo/ Building Pad - Level alignment that would be appreciated.

Not clear; but curious. Are you saying that you could fit 166 building pads (50,000 divided by 300) into 1 topo region defined by 4 elevation points?

Hi Barthbradley

Sorry, I don't think I was clear.  Here is my Topo and Building Pad.  I simply wanted to align them to level 1 correctly.  At the moment the building pad is sitting too low relative to the slope.  Apologies if I am not explaining correctly.

I get it. Several solutions, but the simplest would be to change your Project Base Point Elevation.  I'd need more information about your project though before committing to that solution.  But it's a quick (and reversible) solution. Try it.

Thanks !!

Actually I think I was over complicating things,, I think it was just as simple as moving the Level 1 up and then the Building Pad moved with it into place!

I assumed it was something more complicated but seems not.

Yes, but now your level 1 is showing an elevation at how many feet above 0'-0"?  You okay with that?

Yes, you are right there, so now I can adjust the Project Base Level by minus my adjustment and I think I am good.

Thank you!!!
