See photo for reference. We have a walkout basement, I have to set the toposolid at the lowest grade as it will not allow me to bring the surface down if I set it at the top grade. But now I have a line that runs through(below the garage) and the hatch changes color above it. I can't adjust either.

The thickness of the toposolid I'm using is 20' and the elevation change is only 9' so I don't understand why it won't let me push down into the toposolid if I use the top grade as the starting point. Which would remove the line all together.

What to I do to get either option to work?

Is it an override coming from the View Phase Filter?  Show Complete correct?

It's all "new construction".

So, let's see if I'm reading you right.  You are talking about the difference in the cut patterns appearances; right? One appears lighter than the other.   Almost like it's half-toned.

Yes, and why there's a line.
