Topo Surface Errors

Not much hope of getting an answer to this, seems like a random bug/known error that manifests occasionally with no interest from Autodesk in doing anything to solve it. However I am at my whits end, so here's hoping:

I made a (large, complicated) topo surface.

I drew a number of subregions to denote roads, sidewalks, etc. (This is frustrating and time consuming, though not problematic - only noting because there's no way to start over and be finished in time)

I linked in a couple Revit models.

Everything was chugging along just fine until I did the next thing - added building pads.

Now, pieces of my topo surface are missing, as if I had split the surface where my subregions are. Not all of them. Not even whole subregions. Pieces.

Some people have had pieces of subregions transpose up or down -  this is not happening. I did not split the surface. It is not an element other than a subregion. If I select the part which is not missing and edit the sketch, the whole sketch is there. If I copy the subregion, it still behaves the same way. If I draw a new subregion in the same area, it behaves the same way.

I need curbs for my presentation Thursday and I have no idea what to do!

Commiseration welcome, although I confess I prefer solutions.

LOL sorry to be over dramatic - it's been a rather frustrating afternoon. It does sound like I'll have to eventually re-do all the subregions into single pieces as I keep adding building pads, in order to avoid this sort of thing. Fortunately for this week I only need the immediate portion of the site to be 100% (I have a view standing on the street - you will notice if the curb is missing) so hopefully I can get this portion split up first. It just feels like starting over because I've been working on it so steadily. It's all good, now I know not to combine the subregions. Thanks!

As a side note, you can also use railings to create curbs. They can follow the topo slopes and have a correct profile of a curb.

I'll have to give that a try at some point.

Breaking up the subregions actually isn't working for me, but I don't have time to keep messing with it right now.

Thanks anyway for the help!

Attached is a test file that I removed one of your complex subregion and recreated it using the method described above. I did need to break the boundary into more segments than I anticipated (16 versus 7) but in the end it works.  The capture only shows a part of it but you can see the green curbs instead of holes.
