top level Stair Path

526996629_0-1654054690497.png

This is the stair on the top level so I need to show the stair path to the end of the stair. What's the best way to do this? I know maybe I can draw a plan region or maybe draw some detail lines, however these are not that much satisfying. It would be great if there are better ways.

Why drawing a plan region is not satisfying?

Plan region can help with where it's cut. I played around the plan region but didn't find a way to show the full path. Can you post a plan region setting to show the full path?

Yes you can, but it takes some fidgeting to find that sweet spot.

...Stairs go up 20'-0". Look at the Cut Plane height above Level.  The sweet spot was 20' 1 51/256" to get a continuous stair path bottom to top.

NOTE: Plan Region sketch boundary cannot be in contact with ANY part of the Stairs. Offset it a bit.

Not with Down arrow if that is what you want, but you can show Up arrow in full.

You can do this (same stair as above but different Auto Up/Dn Type/Settings):

Lol you can't just change the text from UP to DN when the stair is still going up from that end.

Sure you can. I just showed you that you can in that screenshot. That's all done in Revit , buddy.   So, BOOYAH!  😉

...wait a minute. Are you saying the Revit Police wouldn't approve? F*ck 'em.

It's okay to bring a laugh in a conversation, but if it is wasting time of folks looking for a serious answer then at least make it clear to them of your trying-to-be-funny intent.

So you failed to be funny and ended up just be wasting others' time.  Great!

I'm failing to see what you think you see, but the OP will be the final judge of what is useful information and what is not.  Bottom line is that I provided the OP with valid information. Nothing I said to the OP was in jest.  How I responded to you WAS with tongue in cheek.  If you found it to be a waste of your time or unfunny, then so be it.  No biggie though. We don't need to belabor it.  Just call it a miss and move on.

Later Gator.

Okay I hope I was wrong and OP can get the answer he needs.
