too many files of the same in my folder

When I go to look for my projects I opened the revit folder and there are so many files of each and every project or family I have been working on.

Do I delete all of them? How you control that? How can I have less?

…. this is one way to do it

… go to file

…. save as

…. project

…. It will be opening a dialog

…. on that save as dialog

…. go to options

… and in the options dialog

… change the number of backups

… try 2 or 3

… (I recommend 3)

…. Click OK
