I would like to be able to toggle disjoin when moving or copying elements without having to click the checkbox. Is there a keyboard shortcut I can set up similar to the shift key for constrain?

You could assign a shortcut to the Wall Joins tool.  You can use the TAB key with the tool to select more than one wall join to Disallow.

No keyboard shortcut for Disjoin, or Constraint box on the Option bar.  However, click on these boxes while moving elements does not lose focus of the elements, so I don't what a big deal is.

Obviously it is not a big deal, however a shortcut would be more efficient than checking/unchecking disjoin when req'd.

Holding shift toggles the constrain checkbox on the options bar, it is not illogical to think a similar shortcut would exist for disjoin.

I beg to differ . . .

Shift will constrain (or unconstrain) during move/copy while held.

Holding Ctrl changes the command Copy<->Move

try this for toggle, a work around, though it may work for you.
