to shade of not to shade

to shade of not to shade

I have been using the REVIT shortcuts, particularly the Osnaps, like "SC" for "center", "SI" for "intersection".

Well I was being a little sloppy and when intending to enter "SE" for "Endpoint" my finger slipped and I hit "D" which is just below "E" on the keyboard. Well, there is a big difference because "SD" means "Shaded with Edges". So now, my elevation is shaded. Looks nice, but, not useful for all the notes & dimension I need to add. I have tried "Help" and reviewed the many REVIT shortcuts, but to no avail.

I could use the help from anyone out there to tell me how to turn off the shading.

You can use the shortcut "HL" to go back to the hidden line.

You can even use the "KS" shortcut to search for the command you want and find out what the shortcut is, or create / modify your own shortcut.
