Titleblock parameters not showing up

I've got a project which was started before our company template was finalised.

We have then added custom titleblocks with shared parameters.  we have a shared Parameters file- which the titleblock family and the projects are all referencing.  A few of those parameters are not showing up no matter what!.   If we start a new project with the titleblock already loaded- the parameters show up no bother, but adding anything to the project started before the company template was finalised is not working.

I've tried deleting the problem parameters with no luck.  I don't want to delete & re-load the titleblock family if we can help it- as this will delete the instances of sheets we already have.

Cheers

Jake

Have you added all the required shared parameters to the older projects? Check to see if any are missing and that they are correctly associated with titleblocks.

Thanks for you reply

Yes- I've loaded them from the same shared parameter file and checked that the file path was the same.

How do you check they are correctly associated?

Manage>>Project Parameters

Select the parameter you wish to check, and edit it. see if the correct category is checkmarked.

Are the Project Parameters from a Shared Parameter text file? You may have parameters with the same name in that file.  Do you get my meaning?

e.g. The parameters that are not reporting may have the same name as the ones that are reporting -- but they could be 2 different Shared Parameters.

Good call, @barthbradley. Delete the shared parameters, @jake_loveday, and then reload them from the TXT file and re-associate them.

Yep that worked.   The perils of developing your company standards/ templates at the same time as keeping live projects up to date!

Thanks to all
