Title Block Revision for different packages.

We need to submit multiple bid packages but i'm  having a hard time figuring out how to setup the revisions in the Title block. Each package will have a separate cover sheet, different drawing list which can be easily duplicates but how can i keep track of the different revisions/ addendum when repeating the same sheet - mainly plans?

The revision are all sheet specific but how can i record the revision correctly and in the right sequence on the different bid packages ?  If the same sheet is repeated in separate package, the revisions won't work correctly because as soon as I issue revision 1, I won't have the option to use revision 1 for the second or third bid package.

Any ideas or solution that have worked for anyone?

Hello Sandra ,

My name is Riccardo. I am a Revit specialist.

Please check if in the article below you can find a possible solution to your problem.

Add a Revision Schedule to a Title Block

Please let me know if this helps you to resolve the issue.

Best Regards

Don't use the Issued option in the Revisions settings then.  Use another method (maybe external logging) to keep track of your issuance.  Aside from that, I am not seeing any issues.

I thought that talking to a machine that picks up the phone when we call to a large company was annoying because usually none of the options in the menu is what one needs to talk about.

Now there is something more annoying, a robot by the name of Riccardo, that answers Revit questions, replying with a generic answer, which is not what the user is asking.

Something nice about the forums is that we interact with people, not with books or recordings, but real users, people. I don't see the need for introducing a robot in the forum.

Hi @Anonymous,

I was wondering, did the suggestion in my previous post helped you?
I’m sorry if the way I use to interact it seems too cold, my intention was just to be polite and to provide a fast suggestion.

@Alfredo_Medina, I’m sorry if my previous message gave you a wrong impression. Just to clarify: no, I’m not a robot 😉
As you can see, I’m here interacting with svisalot and with you giving all my support.

So please keep interacting with other users, and thank you for your inputs on the forums.

The problem is he questioning a very specific subject, and you gave him a generic answer.  Imagine someone asking how to change a driver side mirror of a car and you giving them a link to download the car manual.

And based on this other thread:

...there are some doubts about "Riccardo".  🙂
