Title block / create custom text for manual scale parameter

Hello,

I have multiple views in a sheet, therefore the scale parameter says 'As indicated'.

I have created another instance parameter in order to turn off the autoscale parameter and turn on the Custom/manual scale parameter. The problem is that whatever text I type in the manual scale parameter, it applies to all my sheets that have the manual scale parameter on.

Does anyone come through this issue? what am i doing wrong? there must be something wrong on the way i create the manual scale parameter

Thank you

you should use the Instance parameter not Type parameter and dont forget you dont need to use the Share parameter.

I use the Annotation Symbol as Text box and write the my scale there.

and when i need i can use the myScaal:

I control the visibility of the my Text and Normal Scale.

if you need i can send you my Title Block.

if I understand correctly, you have views of different scales in your sheet, hens the "As Indicated". But you want to type in your own scale in the scale location?

Make a shared parameter and put that in the scale location in your title block on top of the traditional Scale parameter. Then assign a visibility option to turn them on/off as needed.  See attached video on how to....
