The color of the earth pattern of toposolid changes in section, but not in plan

Hello, I want to change the color of the earth cutting pattern, I did it from the material administrator, but it only affects in sections, not in plans.

To change in the plane I have to change it from object style, but from there it changes the color of everything in plan, pattern, cutting line, etc. Should it be so or am I doing something wrong?

Is the toposolid getting cut in plan?

Check the following for "the plan only":

1. Is there a view template?

2. Are VG overrides for toposolid default?

3. Are there any view filters?

I cheecked the file. The issue is, when you when we change the view from 'coarse' to 'fine', it changes the cut pattern for toposolids only in plan for some reason. I dont know if this is a software bug but you can use a simple graphic override as a workaround. Simply goto visual overrides (VV) in the plan. Scroll to toposolid. Change cut pattern to 'earth' with desired colour. See image below.

just change the coarse scale fill colour for the toposolid to the green you want.
