The size of the texture in the editor is determing by the sample size

If you unlink the width and height you can resize the texture. I checked your image and it is 600x800 pixels.

I translated this into sample size of 300mm and 400 mm (to maintain aspect ratio).

So in this case the texture will be tiled on your material where each piece 300x400mm.

If you want to do more to the texture you should open the picture in an image editor (e.g. photoshop, gimp) and modify it in there.

Hi..thanks for the reply. But I have messed with those already and they make it huge in the rendering..Kinda like gigantic wood rings..Ive seen in the texture editor before where you have options to rescale it on the y,z, axes and such..Why dont I have that option?

Look at your sample size. Probably still a setting not correct?

Wood.png

Above is material applied to a wall.

Do I understand correctly that you want the material to be seamless? If so than you have to use other software (e.g Photoshop, Gimp) to make the texture seamless or you wil have to look for seamless images. Search the internet for seamless pictures or depending on your image software look for tutorials on how to make them yourself.
