Text Wrapping> CTRL+Enter?

Wanted to come up with a way to control how the text wrapped for my room name tags that I could use in addition to the defined width to fine tune some names. Stumbled on CTRL+Enter (following selecting the room and then editing in the properties palette) and was thinking this was workable.

But, now that I'm looking at my schedules I see that the part that I'm wrapping is not showing up in the schedlue.

Is there a way to correct this?

Is there any other way to edit what shows up on an individual line of text in notes and tags and such other than stretching the boundary in the family..... which ultimately potentially ends up affecting other room names (as example) in a negative way?

CTRL+Enter inserts a line break. This unfortunately can, as you experienced, result in problems for your schedule.

There is a feature request on this very thing here:

Allow schedules to display multi-line input properly - Autodesk Community

Can you share a screen shot of what you are trying to achieve? Maybe there is another solution.

Thanks Ryan! For clarifying that it is an issue not just with my way of doing things.

Got a chuckle out of the link and some of the comments.

Here are some screenshots....

The family. Note the bounding box. Also note that I recognize that I can change the size and have the text wrap differently.

When I had similar issues in cad (didn't want to be a slave to the bounding box) I figured out a way with formatting so that I could have multiple lines for the room name specifically and via the way I formatted the text (bottom center) I was able to put very specific room name info as specific lines of text. My GUESS is that there may be a way to do this with the family as well, however, if this change doesn't play nice with schedules then it's pointless heading down that road as a solution seems like.

What would be ideal is that there was a way to grab shape handles of the family once inserted as a room tag to stretch or close down the amount of info on a line in the text box. Similar to the way "normal" text boxes work..... like this
