Text difference between a text object and a label object - R2017

Okay, I lied, it is another one.  

So I have 2017.1, if someone can try this in 2017.2 and see if it was fixed that would be great.

Top part of the attached picture is from a keynote tag.  It is set for 3/32" Arial Narrow 1.00 width.

Bottom part is regular text, same exact settings as the keynote tag.  

I was noticing my text looked larger in height than my keynote tags.  Overlaying them showed they were the same size in height, but then I noticed the spacing is off.  Quite a bit off.  It also looks like the curves on the text note are more precise than those in the tag.

Probably won't notice the difference once printed, but on screen it makes it look like I have different fonts.

The changes to the text tool in 2017 were NOT applied to labels in 2017. A keynote is a "label" technically.

The upgraded text is applied to label text in 2018. See the entry under "What's New", "Rich Text in Labels".

So in 2017 the text difference you are seeing between a text object and a label object is expected. In 2018 the text created by the text tool and text created by a label should match each other.

Was planning on testing it in 2018 last night....but fell asleep 😉

Figured it might have been fixed then...too bad we are not updating to 2018 for a while here at work.
