Hello

I have produced a model using Revit 2014.  Would a forum member test the model using the latest Revit please.

Many thanks

...I think it works ok

I would have preferred the origin to be at the center of geometrise to avoid it shifting when one changes the lenses

- I would have also preferred a floor based family over face based in this case

- Visibility wise … I do not like changing view range for the sake of making one family visible in Floor plan...but I guess you could add to the family  a model line in the section view

Well, I can break it, but I suppose you already know that since you have a text notes regarding "minimum values".  My suggestion would be to Group those text notes under "Constraints" so they are listed at the top --- before the other Parameters.  Also, for some reason, this error was thrown upon exiting the Family Types dialog box.

Thanks

I suspect I have not locked or linked my reference planes.  I will investigate and publish my model again.

Thanks for the advice.

My first family had the stretch centred in the model but the extra computation slowed the model and increased its file size.

I chose a face family as the pavement-lights are fitted to roof, floors and roads. I could not find a family other than face that would do the job.

Not sure about the view depth.

Thanks for your help
