I have door as main family inside it
i have childs like handle, door lock with different categories.

Can door type mark , handle type mark of plumbing fixture category and door lock type mark of communication device category tag can it be  associated in single tag.

ex.   door type mark = D1          (door  category )

handle type mark = H1   (plumbing fixture category )

door Lock Type mark = L1  (ommunication device category )

overall final result i want  D1-H1-L1

Why are you using different categories?  If all of these pertain to the door, they then should be part of the "Door" category.

In Door i have 5 types of handle, Door lock  and door stopper which i want to change depending on instance .

If i keep handle in door category then i will get all options including other families will show.

I want to change depending on handle, lock and stopper separately so modeled under different categories.

Please help me with this solution anybody

Different types and instance parameters can live in the same door family.    Types allow for one type and its parameters or duplicate to create a different type.  This can be changed in the property's palette pull down when placing. For items that can be applied across multiple types create that parameter as an instance parameter.  This way it can be changed on that particular door and not all types.

Adding other categories that do not typically work with others it makes things very difficult to tag.

If set on the different categories in the door family, try creating a multi-category tag that has the different categories in the sequence desired.

You can change the type of door per instance AND use the family Type Mark parameter for tagging to get what you want.

What's wrong with the proven, conventional approach of using a key schedule for hardware groups?  There you can have a door tag with both door type mark and hardware group instance label?
