Tag for both windows and door header (opening)

Is it possible to create a tag for both windows and doors header. I only need the tag to report the opening width.

Yes but you need some work because a Muti-category tag does not report inbuilt dimension parameters across different categories.  Follow the steps:

- add a dimension shared parameter to both door and window families

- add Width to the formula box of the shared parameter in both families

- create a label in a Multi-category tag and add the shared parameter to the label

I would just create a door tag, that reports the default "width" parameter. Save, then copy that tag family and change the "Family Category and Parameter" from door tag to window tag. Save, and use.
