Attempting to link a SketchUp file using link CAD as an in place mass. Every time I attempt this the above message appears. I have tried other SkecthUp files (Downloaded a car from the 3D warehouse) with the same results. The suggested answers on similar forums don't seem to be working, any suggestions?

Thanks.

You could convert the skp to an fbx file format. Or import the skp in navisworks and link this coordination model into revit.

Or really dépends what thé purpose is of the SketchUp file in revit.

Also when inserting CAD file, I advice you to use Positioning Center to Center , not Origin to Origin.

A surveyor plan, more then probably , have coordinates N/S and E/W (Y,X) at a great distance from origin.
