Symbolic Lines for Curtain Wall Panel

I'm working on a curtain wall that I want to look just like our window families, but I'm having a hard time with the display in plan. In our window families the model isn't visible in plan and symbolic lines are used to replace the model, but I've tried doing the same thing with  the curtain wall panel and it seems to just break. The panel is still flexible in the family, but there must be something with the symbolic lines that just doesn't work. I'm worried that you just can't use symbolic lines for a curtain wall panel, but then why is the option still there? Thanks in advance! Here's my panel family.

 hi @kimberlyMPHHZ

I reviewed your family, and the issue can be resolved by changing the modeling approach.
Most of the geometry has been created from the Top view, but for the glass and frame components, it is better to model them from the Exterior view in the Family Editor. This allows you to properly lock sketches to reference planes or edges, ensuring correct behavior of the symbolic lines and overall panel flexibility.

I'm not really sure why that did it, but now it's loading in great and working well! Thank you so much!

Thank you, I'm not sure why that made the difference, but it works great now!
