Sub-Divide Line Weights???

Hi Revit Community,

I've recently started sub-diving toposolids, which helps with site conditions like roadways and grass or planter beds, but I can't figure out how to change or turn off the boarder lines.  The Line Weight command works, but that requires manually changing every line in every view and you're guaranteed to miss one.  Is there a view styles category that I'm missing because it doesn't seem to be controlled there. @ToanDN and @barthbradley any thoughts?

Signing off for today, I'll check back in the morning.  Thanks!

So basically, you want to hide the edge of the geometry?  Why not just hide the sub-divide element in View via Override Graphics in View: By Element?

@barthbradley I'm referring to the plan views (see highlighted lines in attached photo).   I've started subdividing Toposolids to represent different site materials like pathways and roadways, but I also include other features that I don't want appearing on plan drawings like mown grass, vs wild grass regions.  These subdivisions help to speed up the visual rendering process in Twinmotion, and I can quickly apply different types of vegetation, but I don't need them visible in my drawings and cant find a way to quickly turn off these lines.

Any thoughts?

What it looks like you are pointing out in your Screenshot is the Toposolid Contours.

It's not the contours, it's a subdivide line.  Notice how it strays from the contour lines, though I tried to mimic the contours when creating that sub-divide.  The only workaround seems to overriding the "Projection/
Surface - Lines"  to white on the Toposolid.  Then I can manually go back in with LW and turn on the lines I want to see.  I'll mark this as solved, though I wish there was a "subdivision edges" category under VG overrides. This convo helped, thanks!

Again, I have to go back to my original reply post question. Why not just hide the linework?  Via Hide in View By Element?

...FWIW; right-click menu:

Right-Click Hide or Override in View.png

That requires going through every drawing and hiding multiple sub-divisions, which is far more work than changing the line color in a single location on the VG settings.  And, in a large drawing set it's inevitable that some will get missed.  Also, the sub-divisions serve as a top layer in the toposolid so depending on the thickness of that subdivision, hiding the subdivision could noticeably change the reality of the topo lines.  Especially between area that are turned off (grass) and areas that remain on (roadways, paths, etc.).  Finally, that solution still misses the original request to "change or turn off" the sub-divisions edges/boarders.  My solution of turning them white in VG setting, then adjusting as needed with LW command solves both issues, while turning them off completely would not allow me to alter the boarder line weights later. The request was not to turn them off, it was to change their appearance.

I still don't get it. Maybe we're just talking past each other.

Now you're talking filters....

I may explore that option in the future. Signing off for now.  Thanks,

...or maybe you want to hide the contours, as well as change the edge linework? Something like this:

...yah, I know what you said about contours. Just thought I'd go there again. 😉

We must be talking past each other, because I'm talking about the same thing we have been talking about all along.  Overrides.   That is Overriding Elements' Graphics/Visibility in View by Element, by Category or by Filter.
