Struggling to create this stair!

Hello, 

I'm really struggling to create this stair with the stair tool in Revit Lt 2022. 

Images below: 

I have no problem drawing the first flight up to the first square landing. But, I get stuck creating that first landing. I get errors saying 'cant make stair'. Through trial and error I've established that it'll work if the sketched landing is set 100mm or so away from the last riser. But, obviously i want to connect to the riser. 

The other issue once I've overcome this is to do two flights going in opposite directions starting and ending at the same point. Is this possible? 

I could always just create a custom family, but I wanted to persevere with the stair tool as it'll be quicker im sure in the long run if I master it.

Did you create that stair from on2 sketch or is it two stairs combined?

One U-Shaped and two Straight Runs up from the Landing Level.  All Sketch-Based, FWIW.

Annoyingly I just can't get it to work! so frustrating, Revit doesn't give you any clues - just gives you the dumb message 'can't make stair'! 

Now, I just want to make this tweak - a larger rectangular landing 

I'm getting this error. 

Where am I going  wrong? I've changed structural depth and it hasn't worked.

Are you creating a New Stair Instance or editing the existing Stairs and trying to add onto it.  As I said above, those are 3 separate Instances in my screenshot above - 1 U-Shaped and 2 Straight Runs.

You have to use two stairs to create this complex stair. One for the u-shaped stair, and a second for the flight that goes in the opposite direction.

Yes, I've been trying that. 

Still no joy here. Ive tried modelling this landing as a 'landing' and as a riser as part of the same flight - neither worked. 

Can anyone give me an idea of the parameters stopping it? This is now driving me crazy - I've spent almost all day trying to get this to work.

Actually, I think I see what's going on in your screenshot.  No Stair Path.
