Structural Beam System (Fixed number of lines, and spacing?)

Hello there,

As tittle says, is there way to get "fixed number of lines, and spacing" in Structural Beam System?

Like I want last "Lines" to be exactly on edge of walls, but as i try to do it it's makes extra "lines" which I don't need.

I would add the edge beams first, then Automatic Beam System with Fixed Number or Maximum Spacing.

Short answer No, not with fixed number... The start and end grid lines are virtual, beams are only placed on the middle grids of the system (PS: Justification is not accessible when using Fixed Number)

What you can do is 

1. set it to 3 and add 2 beams at the start/end grids manually (GIF 1)
2. Use fixed distance (width /4) >> increase the system width by a beam (GIF 2)

I was trying to find "Automatic Beam System", and "Sketch Beam System" but apparently I don't have them. "Revit 2021"

I also took a look at tutorial "https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/EN... but still I don't have such options.

Automatic beam System is available when you have structural beams or structural walls forming the boundary.  After generate the system, you can delete border member(s) if you want.

Now I get it, thanks for explanation, i was abit confused otherwise about Automatic Beam
