Strange Void that l did not place-

Hi:
I replaced another in-place wall mass component with a generic 300mm wall and this is what was generated - tried the un-hide - but there is no void there.. it is in the bottom left hand side -outlined... what would make it behave like that..

So let's recap.  You created an In-Place Mass Form. Then you created a Wall by [Mass] Face. Then you selected this Wall by Face and replaced it with a different Wall Type.  Now you see something that shouldn't be there when you select the Wall - something that looks like a Void, but isn't.  Is that about the size of it?   If so, I can venture a bunch of guesses. Check out this list.  Maybe it will provide a clue.

l actual firstly created a generic wall.. but deleted it and replaced with an in-place wall mass- as the boundaries of the wall were irregular... then when l was not able after l do not how many times  -to embed a curtain wall into the mass.. went back to a generic masonry 300mm wall.. and the curtain wall embedded fine.. but when l went to replace the second in-place wall mass  with another generic 300mm masonry wall- that was the result... l will go through the list and see.. but 🙂 thanks

I found a work around the void - not what l was really wanted to do- but l can expand on it - if l want to ,...

the center panels are 2.5m single curtain doors- has a 750mm support column at the corner....
