Strange message when linking CAD

Anyone know how to fix this? I've purged, blocked out, exploded, renamed the AutoCAD file, but I am still getting this message when trying to link a CAD file:

"Geometry in the file Level 01.dwg has extents greater than 20 miles (33km). This may reduce reliability and result in undesirable graphic behavior. Click OK to continue, Cancel to exit import."

Revit has problems when it goes beyond the 20 miles radius. Normally the problem is that the objects in your cad file are spread over a large area or the objects in the CAD file are far away from the (Autocad origin)

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Thank you Louis.

Good to know. I finally thought to examine the CAD file in the Z-dimension and found junk at elevation 9,000'. Fixed that and now the error message is gone.

Thanks for this suggestion - I'd tried any number of things to fix this but hadn't tried flattening the drawing to reduce the limits in Z. I loaded an old LSP routine (FLATTENEZ) and problem sorted.
