Stone Elevation

Hi,

What would be the best way to model the stone elevation in the attached sketchup jpg.

The wall will be stone rainscreen cladding with insualtion and SFS behidn with an overall thickness of approx. 467mm.

Some of the reveals / recesses are 400mm some 50mm and some 100mm.

I would use wall and wall reveal tools. Seems pretty straight forward or am I missing something special with your rainscreen construction detail?

hi, the rainscreen is approx. 80mm thick, i need a 100mm recess.  using a sweep creates a void rather than pushing the raisncreen back 100mm.

is there any way to avoid this.

The material on the reveals will be the same as the exterior layer even though the reveals cut deeper than than that layer.  Only when you need to cut a section, you will see the layer is not wrapped around.  But it can be taken care of by details.

Below I have some 50 mm x 50 mm reveals and some 100 mm  x 100 mm reveals placed on 80 mm stone layer.
