Steel plates are not showing in elevation view in Revit 2019

In Revit 2019 (latest update) I have modeled steel plates with the aid of the Steel - Fabrication Elements - Plate command. In 3D view they show up nice with Detail level: fine otherwise they won't show.

Under the Elevations they don't show up although the Detail level: fine is in use. See the PrintScreens. 

Can anyone give me a solution to this problem?

Sorry, I have been to quickly with getting help.

Found out that under: Visibility/Graphics Overrides for Elevation - Model Categories - Visibility - Structural Connections was activated but when locking in the pull down tree only Hidden Lines are activated.

Anchors, Bolts, Holes, Modifiers, Others, Plates, Profiles, Reference, Shear Studs, Symbol and Welds are all turned off by default. 

Activating Plates has solved my HELP request.

How about for a plan view? I model a foundation baseplate as a plate and it does not show up in plan view.  The model categories shown about in the visibility graphics are all turned on.  Any thoughts?

Hello Cory, 

Please keep in mind that I haven't used Revit for four years and already retired and therefor my answer is based on knowledge I remember or think to remember. Maybe the software is quite different nowadays. 

Did you modelled the baseplate as a family (I suppose so) and is the baseplate not showing up in a detail setting?

I remember that when modeling a family the level of detail had to be defined. 

Is it a part of a model category of which the settings you might have overlooked or is there a setting in the family that prevents the baseplate to show up? I remember that when showing a model in 3D and not having attached the 3D view to the family it didn't show up in the 3D overall design.

Hope this will help you or maybe after reading my reply you will have a thoughts in which direction you have to find the solution.

little late to the party but if everything is on in visibility graphics and it is still not visible you have to set 'Detail level' on 'Fine'. then it is visible. that did the job for me.
