Steel Members Displaying Incorrectly

I'm having an issue where steel members are not displaying properly - they're displaying as simple lines, regardless of detail level. If I move the columns/beams away and back again it seems to recalculate the geometry and they display correctly again. I have to redo this every time I reload the model.

Attached images show the difference before and after recalculating the geometry. This doesn't seem to be the case for all steel members though.

Has anybody else run into this problem? What am I doing wrong? This is the same case no matter which computer I open the project on.

Can you upload a small sample of those beam? Also what Revit version are you using?

What columns?  I only see 3 mitered beams.  Check Warnings see if anything related to them.  Cut and paste aligned in place see if can fix the issue.

It's happening with the steel columns and beams, I had just chosen a screenshot that contained those beams. There are no warning displayed attached to any of them, that's what's weird - it doesn't seem there's a good reason that they're displaying incorrectly, at least to my knowledge. It does seem that cutting and pasting back in has solved the issue, thank you so much. I just wish I knew what the issue was so that I could deal with it in the future.
