STAMPING CAD LINES ONTO FLOOR

Hi!

I hope you can help me! I'm using Revit Lt 2019

I'm working on a project that has a feature pavement pattern stamped or coloured onto a concrete floor.

I have the pattern lines in DWG and I have imported them into my Revit model and placed them over the floor slab.

The idea is that some areas inside the wiggly lines will be one colour concrete and the others just plain concrete.

What's the best to go about this?

Use the Split Face tool (Modify tab) to create divisions in your floor and apply different surface patterns (e.g. Materials) within those Split boundaries using the Paint Tool (Modify tab).

...just to be clear: you are creating and applying two different Materials to the Surface.

You know, on second read, I'm thinking that using the Split Face and Paint tool is a little impractical.  Essentially your scoring the concrete and then randomly applying a topical color in different scoring.  Maybe something like that would be determined in the field.  However, if you can find an image on-line, you could Render it.
