Yes if you draw the runs using Run tool.
No if you draw the runs in Sketch mode.

It depends on how you create the stairs. If you create them using the standard Run and Landing tools, then landings are created at breaks in the stairs (such as in L-shaped or U-shaped stairs) after you create the second run of stairs.

If you create stairs by sketch, then no, you must draw the landings yourself.
